A battery isolator is essentially a protection device that will disconnect your battery to prevent you from over discharging and damaging your battery. The KickAss Low Voltage Disconnect will sense low battery voltage and automatically disconnect devices to save power. The KickAss Voltage Sensitive Relay will connect and charge your auxiliary battery when your starting battery is charged, and will automatically disconnect when the vehicle is turned off to prevent you from draining your starting battery.
