Quick-connect Anderson-style plugs make installation a breeze—no hard wiring required! Whether you’re mounting it under the hood or elsewhere in your 4WD, caravan, or camper, the side-molded mounting points provide flexibility. Plus, these units are water-resistant and suitable for marine applications.

Smart Dual Sensing The dual-sensing function intelligently detects the charge levels of both the auxiliary and cranking batteries. It allows current to flow back when the starting battery is low or when an external charger (like AC or solar) is connected to the auxiliary battery.

Override Switch for Sticky Situations Imagine your cranking battery is discharged, and you urgently need to transfer charge back from your auxiliary battery. No worries—the VSR comes equipped with an override switch precisely for such scenarios.

How It Works: The Basics

• When your vehicle’s engine is running, the alternator charges the start battery. Once the start battery reaches 13.2V, the VSR connects the start and auxiliary batteries, allowing them to charge simultaneously.
• When the engine isn’t running, the alternator stops charging. If the start battery voltage drops below 12.8V, the VSR disconnects from the auxiliary battery. This ensures that the auxiliary battery won’t drain the start battery.
